He was elected aDirector of this Company on May i6, 1877, Vice-Presi-dent, May 19, 1880, and on June 10, 1885, Second Vice-President. The influence of Mr. McNally was very marked inChicago, where he resided, and in the territory of whichthat city is the center. His best efforts were alwaysexerted in behalf of this Company.
