Small rivers and streams drain the Cairngorm mountains into the sink of Loch Morlich, near Aviemore, in Scotland. I took this in the depths of winter beneath a snow laden sky tinged red by a setting sun. The reflected light in turn picked up by the meandering stream bordered by Scots pine turning it rosy red.
