Amsterdam Reguliersgracht Canal with a small boat and tourists on rental bikes having difficulty cycling up the steep bridge.

Reguliersgracht Canal in Amsterdam in spring. Young tourists on rental bikes find it hard to climb the steep bridges on some parts of the Canal Belt, the Grachtengordel. While five women friends are having a little picnic on board their small boat. The boat is a Dutch Sloep, different from the English Sloop, more like a Launch. The Reguliersgracht is not the prettiest of Amsterdam Canals, but it has seven bridges almost in one straight line that have made this a famous photo spot. This is the first of the seven on the corner of the Herengracht Canal, opposite of the Thorbeckeplein Square.
