Marine Corps Staff Sgt. Gerard Murphy waits to be handed an anti-tank mine to stage it for disposal Feb. 21, 2018 during Cobra Gold 19 in Thailand. Marines assisted the Royal Thai Armed Forces in teaching explosive ordnance disposal courses and disposing of the landmines. Murphy, an explosive ordnance disposal technician with 3rd EOD Company, 9th Engineer Support Battalion, is a native of Mineral Wells, Texas.
