Very ornamental 5 e T o o K e« The Stock has for many years been a general favorite, but of late years the Germans have grown them in such perfection that they are considered almost mdispensable where a fine display is wanted. The seed embraces a list of many colors, and it is grown with such care that a very large proportion of double flowers are produced from the seed. Seeds of the Stock may be sown in the open ground or in the hot-bed, but if to be transplanted, let it be done when the plants are quite small.
