If sown as late as the ;)th of July to the 1st of August good results can be expeoteid!, if the chances are favorable. In the neighborhood of larger cities, where early potatoes are extensively grown for the market, Hungarian Millet is generally sown as soon as the potatoes are dug, and thus two crops are harvested in one year from the same piece of ground. Hungarian will not grow as coarse as many other Millet varieties, but still it yields quite heavy, three ito four tons of hay iper acre is considered an ordinary crop. The hay is very leafy and of the very bes^t quality, being greedily eaten by all kinds of stock. Weight of seed. 48 lbs. per bushel.
