The proprietors have re-cently bought the grounds formerly occupied by the AveryHotel, which was destroyed by fire last year, and are con-verting them into a beautiful park, with fountains, flowersand shrubbery. They have also built a boat house andlanding on the Clinton River, which runs by this latter is located just across the street from the hotel,and is for the use of its patrons.
