Veterans in yellow hats lead tours of the "Island", the command and control tower of the USS Midway, from where the Captain and Air Boss led ship operations 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. Yellow Hat docents can be found all over the ship, and answer any and all questions about the "grand ole lady" of the West-Pac.
