PACIFIC OCEAN (March 14, 2019) – Navy Counselor 1st Class Thomas Hubbard, from Brockton, Mass., and Boatswain’s Mate 2nd Class Joey Caron, from Colorado Springs, Colo., prepare ammunition on the bridge wing of the amphibious dock landing ship USS Ashland (LSD 48) during a training exercise with other Navy warships. Navy warships train together to increase the tactical proficiency, lethality, and interoperability of participating units in an Era of Great Power Competition.
