Well used solid wooden picnic table and two wooden benches at Lane Ends Amenity area, a public area adjacent to the sea wall in Pilling (grassy bank behind the table is part of the sea wall). The area is owned by the Environment Agency and managed by the Wyre Countryside Ranger Service. The picnic area is popular with birdwatchers and walkers. There are a wide range of habitats on the site which are being developed to encourage a variety of wildlife. A network of paths link the picnic area with Pilling Village and the Lancashire Coastal Way.
