College Hall Benjamin Franklin - View to bronze statue of a seated Benjamin Franklin by at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It is located in front of College Hall, on Locust Walk, and is one of three statues of Franklin on the campus. College Hall was the first building on the West Philadelphia campus. The University of Pennsylvania is a private Ivy League research university in Philadelphia. The University claims a founding date of 1740 and is one of the nine colonial colleges chartered prior to the Declaration of Independence. This image is available in color as well as black and white.
