The first of the events was a baseball gameat Gwynns Falls Park between the Mt. ClareWelfare Team and Riverside. Mt. Clare wonthe honors with a score of 9 to 4. A parade was then formed and, led by theWelfare Band, we marched to Benkerts Park,on Dorsey Lane, where S. C.

A parade was then formed and, led by theWelfare Band, we marched to Benkerts Park,on Dorsey Lane, where S. C. Grams, foremanin the Passenger Car Erecting Shop, made anaddress of welcome. The chairman of the Entertainment Com-mittee, J. Scharnagle, with the support of hiscommittee, had everything prepared for a feast,including steamed crabs, ham, sausage, rollsand plenty to drink. During the entire afternoon and evening therewas dancing, the music being furnished by theWelfare Band. The committee, as shown in the accompany-ing picture, is as follows: Standing, backrow: Messrs. Paullis, Griffith and , front row: Messrs. Cadogan, Crockett,Handy, Heckwolf and Dundore. Sitting: , Scharnagle, Remm, Hittle, Heckwolfand Beaumont. A panoramic picture was taken directly afterthe parade arrived at the park, but most of thecrowd had gone to the dining room and it wasimpossible to get the entire gathering. The next get together of our associationwill be for a dance and oyster roast. Employes Get-Together Meetingat Gassaway By C. W. Dixon ^LL of the population of these UnitedStates who were not in Gassaway onLabor Day missed half of what life isworth living for. The Employes Get-Together Meeting was a great success.
