A ULA Atlas V rocket that will launch the sixth Space Based Infrared System Geosynchronous Earth Orbit missile warning satellite begins to transit to its launch pad at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, Fla., Aug. 2, 2022. SBIRS consists of a network of satellites to support missile warning, missile defense, battlespace awareness and technical intelligence.
