Bas-relief carvings of storks amongwaves and water plants, and the spotted deer under the pine-tree—repeated wishes of long life. Seventeenth century. 12—Extremely Kake Black Amber Snuff Bottle Ovoidal contour on all sides, with a lat-eral depth greater than half its width,on a miniature molded foot and with shortcylindrical neck. Smooth, softly pol-ished surface with the deep hue ofblackest ebony. On one face a calli-graphic inscription lightly etched in sev-eral characters.
