The feros on the prows of two gondolas frame the entrance to the Venetian resort hotel and casino in Las Vegas. The fero is one of the few metal part of a gondola. Gondola makers construct the fero so that that it has six metal teeth and forms an S shape that mimics the curves of Venice's Canal Grande.
