Hosting Mystic Seaport as well as Olde Mystick Village, both of which are Early American replicas, and the very well-known Mystic Aquarium, the town of Mystic, Connecticut, has always offered much to tourists. The town, though, became famous after the release of the 1988 film "Mystic Pizza", named after a local pizzeria and which starred the young and then unknown Julia Roberts. The movie made both Ms. Roberts and the town of Mystic, Connecticut, quite famous. Mystic Pizza restaurant still exists and is a tourist stop for everyone who visits the town.
