Gorsedh Kernow, St Michael's Chapel, Roche Rock, Roche, Cornwall, 1933. Crowds gathered to watch the ceremony of the Cornish Gorsedd (Gorsedh Kernow) at St Michael's Chapel at Roche Rock. The Gorsedh Kernow or Cornish Gorsedd was set up in 1928. Its aims are to "maintain the national Celtic spirit of Cornwall". The ceremony, held annually at a different location each time, is when new bards are admitted.
