Soldiers from 1st Battalion, 17th Infantry Regiment, along with Soldiers from the 1st Infantry Regiment, Japan Ground Self Defense Force, engage in a fun and competitive game of soccer during Sports Day during Rising Thunder 18, at the Yakima Training Center, Washington, Sept. 5. This exercise allows both military forces to learn from one anothers’ strengths and weaknesses on and off the training sites, along with building comradery for unit cohesion.
