Body casts exhibited in the House of Marco Fabio Rufo (Casa di Marco Fabio Rufo) in the archaeological site of Pompeii (Pompei) near Naples, Campania, Italy. Body casts were made by pouring plaster into the hollows left by disintegrated bodies after the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD.
