X 6. Internal Anatomy. Muscular system. As in .4. rhodesiensis, except that the longi- tudinal fibres are not so strongly developed. Nervous system. The number of longitudinal nerves on each side varied. As a rule, there were three on each side, but in specimens from Horse B only the median nerve was constantly present, although the dorsal and ventral nerves were also seen in some segments.
