MADISON, Wis., (April 22, 2017) – University of Wisconsin-Madison Naval Reserve Officers Training Corps (NROTC) midshipmen visit with U. S. Marine Corps veteran Staff Sgt. Robert Gagner at the William S. Middleton Veterans Hospital here, April 22. More than 60 midshipmen visited with inpatient and outpatient vets and helped with an Earth Day cleanup of the hospital grounds. Gagner served in the Marines from 1967-1972 and was with the 3rd Battalion, 9th Marines infantry unit in Vietnam.
