Slated for post of Comptroller General. Washington, , April 27. The post of Comptroller General, vacant since the retirement of McCarl last year is shortly to be filled by Rep. Lindsay C. Warren of North Carolina, whose appointment is said to have been decided on by President Roosevelt. Warren, an ardent new dealer, is Chairman of the House Committee on Accounts and has frequently served Assistant Administration Leader of the House . The appointment as Comptroller is for a 15-year term, 4/27/38
