Enlarged Heart on Chest X-ray
This frontal chest x-ray demonstrates the typical appearance of an enlarged heart, called cardiomegaly. There is cephalization of pulmonary flow indicative of an element of pulmonary venous hypertension. This means that the blood vessels in the upper lung fields are larger and more prominent than those in the lower lung fields.
