Roman Egyptian plaster funerary Mask, 200 - 299 ADm Antinopolis Egypy. Louvre Museum AF 6673. Mummy portrait of a woman (Roman ribbed hairstyle, bun braid, earrings). The mask fas a very elaborate feminine hairstyle characteristic of 3rd century AD. Strands of hair are organized in pronounced plated descending low on the forehead; they meet in a bun at the back.
