Guard Hussar,Allach Porcelain Factory Early issue porcelain figure rendered in colour with elaborate etched gilding on areas of the uniform,bridle,saddle cloth and the plinthïs border. The bottom with impressed signature " Kärner",model number "93" and manufacturer's mark in a raised octagon. Height 33 cm. A mere eight figures of this design were produced in 1939. Because of the war,ochre paint replaced the gilding in productions from 1940 onwards.
