When he was succeeded by his son,Zadok, Samuel, another son, took charge of a farm,on the vsouth side of the town. John, the ^^oungest,also had some interest in the store. The Streets^ere active business men, and their position in theSociety of Friends gave them prestige with thatclass of people as well as some others. They ownedsome farms out in Goshen township.
