Cycnorhamphus suevicus

Cycnorhamphus ("swan beak") is a genus of ctenchasmatoid pterodactyloid pterosaur from the Late Jurassic of France and Germany. Pterosaurs ("winged lizard") were flying reptiles of the order Pterosauria. Pterosaurs are the earliest vertebrates known to have evolved powered flight. Shown here is a historical skeletal restoration of Cycnorhamphus suevicus.
