Fall colors can be seen at Veteran's Memorial Plaza at the Commemorative Area on Oct. 26, 2018, at Fort McCoy, Wis. The Commemorative Area consists of five World War II-era buildings set aside to help tell Fort McCoy’s unique story. These facilities are representative of the types found in the cantonment area when it was constructed in 1942. The area also includes the History Center, Equipment Park, and the Veteran’s Memorial Plaza.
