A street in Lucy-le-Bocage destroyed by shell fire. This photograph, taken by Captain J. Andre Smith on March 14, 1919, shows the aftermath of the destruction. The drawing, made on August 4th, captures the village as French troops began the process of cleaning up and opening the streets for traffic.
