Parents of Lewisham Bridge demonstrate at Prendergast school disrupting Gordon Brown Education Initiative relaunch.

Parents of Lewisham Bridge Primary School are angry that the Grade II Listed School building is to be demolished and replaced with a combined primary and secondary school on site that is only big enough for a primary school. Lewisham Council failed to take the views of the parents into account and are currently busing the children to another site while the school is still usable.
