A late 19th century view of the Royal Courts of Justice in London, commonly called the Law Courts. Housing the High Court and Court of Appeal of England and Wales, the Victorian Gothic style large grey stone edifice built in the 1870s was designed by George Edmund Street, who died before it was completed,to become one of the largest courts in Europe.
