A matchlock musket, Suhl, circa 1620/1630. Octagonal barrel merging to round with smooth bore in 17 mm calibre. Dovetailed sights. The Suhl hen with "SVL" and additional unclear markings are on top of the breech. Pan with flash guard and moveable cover. Simple matchlock, the lockplate is in the shape of a wheellock plate with the wheel indicated. It is marked with "SVL" and a moors' heads. Iron trigger guard.
