Spain, Andalusia, Granada. Casa de los Tiros (House of the Shots). Facade of the 16th century Renaissance building. It was constructed between 1530 and 1540 in a similar style than other palaces in the city from that period. The facade originally formed part of the defensive wall surrounding the area where the potters had their workshops. The tower is the only original part of the building. Sculptural detail on the linteled door of the 17th century, with a sword perforating the heart and the motto of the house: "The heart rules".
