Light micrograph of prostate cancer. This is a high-grade (aggressive) cancer (Gleason score 5+5=10). The tumor cells are arranged in linear cords separated by strands of fibromuscular stroma. There is only minimal glandular differentiation with a few poorly-formed glands present in this field. Note the uniform vesicular nuclei with prominent nucleoli.
