Brig. Gen. (Ret.) Travis Acheson, of the 132d Wing, Iowa Air National Guard, was buried at McLarens Resthaven Chapel & Mortuary in Des Moines, Iowa, June 29, 2024. Brig. Gen. (Ret.) Acheson, logged nearly 3,000 flight hours and inspired countless Iowans with his leadership and patriotism.
