Hypnosis research. Researcher observing a woman undergoing transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) whilst under hypnosis. This is being done in order to study the effects of hypnosis on motor skills. Areas of the subject's brain are stimulated using magnetic fields whilst under hypnosis, and the effects on the body are observed. The study revealed specific activation of the parietal cortex and cerebellum of the brain under hypnosis. Photographing at the Raymond Poincare Hospital, Paris, France.
