Police is seen protecting the square from people protesting against Attilio Fontana, President of the Lombardy Regional government, and the League management of the Covid-19 League (Lega), Brothers of Italy (Fratelli d'Italia) and Forza Italia gathered in Duomo Square in Milan, to celebrate the Republic Day (Festa della Repubblica). In the light of Covid-19 Emergency, people respected social distancing while celebrating and protesting the national government's measures. Left side movements opposed the celebration.
