Workers make clay pots as a form of pottery business to sell at a market. The clay pots are laid out to dry under the sun.
Pottery, an age-old trade, is done only by the people of the "Pal" community (Potters Community) of Hinduism. For centuries, they have lived off their pottery skills. Even today, their pots are of huge demand throughout Bangladesh. The workers collect clay from the ground before shaping it with their hands, drying it in the sun, firing into the kilns and finally painting the finished pottery.
