Maradoka ruins near Hell Ville, Nosy Be Madagascar. The story goes that shipwrecked Indian sailors settled on the island and built this in the 17th or 18th century. The shipwreck is still visible in low water next to the building. According to local guides these were the first Indian settlers to set foot on the East African island and their descendants moved on to East Africa, so it is an important site historically
