It is of uniform dwarf habit, never ex- ceeding 3 feet in height, wiih broad, massive dark green leaves ; an early and continuo-;:s bloomer, throwing its graceful trusses of large bold flowers just the proper distance .above the foliage; color rich dazzling crims9n. similar to that old favorite, Alphonse Bouvier. each. J. D. Eisele. A magnificent vermilion scarlet with orange, raised by one of Europe's foremost Canna specialists, and named in honor of our Nursery Manager. It is a strong free grower, attaining a height of 3i feet, and is without ques- tion the finest scarlet yet offered. $100 each. Menelek. This is the best of M. Crozy's intro- ductions for this season, and one of the most flor- iferous varieties known to us. It is of dwarf compact habit, about So feet feet high, very uni- form, wiih heavy rich green foliage. Its flowers are of good size, with broad petals; are of a rich nasturtium red, a color which shows well in contrast with other shades. 8100 each. Flirst VOli Hohenlohe. An ideal yellow bedding Canna. lis flowers are of fair size, the upper petals of purest yellow, the lower one slightly marked with crimson. Its strong points are iis great floriferousness, neat compact habit, large spikes of flowers, and the fact that at the distance of only a few feet it appears as a pure yellow. We have no hesitation in placing it at the head of the list of yellows. 7o cts.
