A repeating air rifle, Girandoni action, Ernst August Störmer in Herzberg, circa 1820/30. Octagonal barrel (reblued) with eight groove rifling in 10 mm calibre. Dovetailed iron folding rear sight and brass front sight. Spring loaded sliding tapered breechblock. Side mounted magazine for 20 round balls. Cast brass receiver finely engraved with a hound lying next to a dead stag under a leafy tree, and the rest of the brass furniture is also finely engraved with hunting themes.
