Tommy, an English gelding, was ridden in the Paris Peace Parade on July 14, 1919. He was also paraded before the King and Queen of Belgium and Sir Douglas Haig during their visit to , Afterward, Tommy returned to the United States with Stables in September 1919. In the National Capital Horse Show in 1920, he was ridden by Colonel John G. Quekemeyer, to General Pershing, winning prizes in various events. The photograph, taken in 1920, has the serial number 68781 and is credited to the Signal Corps.
