The strong and fixed characteristics of this squash are easi- ness, long keeping, variety of colors, and the excelling in rich- ness, sweetness, and flavor. It is very productive though rather below the average size (five or six pounds). It is a good keeper, and has the exceptional recommendation of be- ing a table delicacy during three seasons,—summer, fall, and winter.
