These two dots are connected by a straightline. The vertical distance between the two dots will represent the disproportion between the twocounts. For example, suppose on the left a dot indicating a leucocyte count of 11,000 and on the right adot indicating 76 per cent polj^nuclear cells. The result would be indicated by a line which would beabsolutely horizontal, and
