A photograph showing the dome and facade facing London's Millennium Bridge of St Paul's Cathedral

St Paul's Cathedral is an Anglican cathedral on Ludgate Hill, London. Ludgate Hill is the highest point in the City of London, and St Paul's is the seat of the Bishop of London. The present building dates from the 17th century and was designed by Sir Christopher Wren. It is generally agreed to be London's fifth St Paul's Cathedral, all others having been built on the same site since 604 The cathedral is one of London's most famous and most recognisable sights. At 365 feet (111m) high, it was the tallest building in London from 1710 to 1962, its dome is also among the highest in the world. This image is derived from a 12Megapixel image I took whilst walking along London's Milennium Bridge on the way from St Paul's Cathedral over the bridge toward the Tate Modern Art Gallery, although a cold day in February, the sky was rich and blue and the lighting crisp, thus making the subject irresistible to me as a photograph
