Black and White view of the tall craggy cliffs in the Injisuti region of the Drakensberg Mountains on a clear sunny day. These iconic cliffs and peaks of the Drakensberg Mountains formed due to the combination of the Jurassic period large flood basalt during the break-up of the Gondwana Supercontinent and erosion from the later uplift of the African Continent. The Drakensberg Park were declared a Unesco World Heritage site in 2000 to protect the natural habitats, but also due to its cultural significant since it has the largest concentration of rock paintings in Sub Sahara Africa.
