Shell bursting in front of a camera, resulting in the deaths of seven members of a photographic party. The photograph was taken by Lieutenant Ralph Estep from the Signal Corps in France during World War One. Estep himself was killed by a machine gun bullet just minutes after capturing this image. The photograph was taken in 1918 and received on March 10, 1921, with the identification number 46532.
