The police arrested 552 activists on Saturday who were partially blocking the A12 in The Hague, 200 were arrested yesterday. Extinction Rebellion demonstrations have now blocked the main entrance road to the A12 for the fifteenth day in a row, demanding that the government stop supporting the fossil fuel industries. Police again used water cannon against the protesters. The 552 arrested demonstrators were taken by bus to the ADO football stadium and released without further action. The action group threatens to repeat these actions indefinably until their demands are met.
