John Rogers died October 8, 1636, aged sixty-five. His monument with an inscription is seen in the burying ground at Dedham,Essex. Among his children were Nathaniel and Samuel. The second son was the Rogers, who at Ipswich took the Oath of Freedom, September 6, 1638, andwas the first writer in the ancient memo book, now in possession of Mrs. Hamilton.
