NERVE, HISTOLOGY
This is histology section of a small nerve in the peripheral nervous system. This nerve is composed of exclusively non-myelinated fibers enveloped in their Schwann cells (red and orange). The different nerve fibers are separated from each other by collagen fibers (small pink points) and the entire nerve is covered with a connective sheath called the perinerve
